XLRI confers diplomas to 189 students on 2nd Convocation of Blended PGDM Programmes

Jamshedpur, Aug 23 (INB) Management institute Xavier School of Management conferred diplomas to 189 students on the 2nd Convocation Ceremony for its Blended PGDM Programmes, the business studies school said on Sunday.
The convocation held on August 23 was graced by State Bank of India Managing Director Ashwini Kumar Tewari as the chief guest.
“This year, a total of 189 students were conferred with their diplomas across four specialised programmes,” the statement said.
XLRI, Jamshedpur leadership team Director Dr (Fr) Sebastian George, S.J., Director, Dean Academics Dr Sanjay Patro, Dean Administration & Finance Dr (Fr) Donald D’Silva, SJ, Associate Dean XOL Programmes Dr R Giridhar, PGDM (Finance) Programme Director, Dr HK Pradhan and PGDM HRM (Emerging CHROs), Programme Director, Dr RK Premarajan were present at the dias.
Tewari on the occasion reminded the graduates that their convocation was not just the culmination of academic rigor, but the beginning of their responsibility to their organizations, families and the nation.
Diplomas were conferred to 24 students in Finance, 36 in Human Resource Management (HRM), 82 in Business Management (BM) and 47 for Emerging CHROs.
“The graduating batch took the XLRI Pledge, committing themselves to uphold the institute’s core values of Excellence with Integrity, ethical leadership and responsibility towards society,” the statement said.
Four students were honoured with Gold Medals for Academic Excellence: Sonal Arora bagged gold medal for Emerging CHROs, Soumya Sibani Sahoo for Business Management (BM), Shruti Mittra in Human Resource Management (HRM) and Sai Supriya Bhupathiraju for Finance.
