Lucknow, Sept 7 (INB) Six teachers of City Montessori School (CMS) Aliganj Campus have secured places among the top 200 teachers globally in the International Primary Teachers’ Olympiad, the school said on Monday. The teachers are Namrata Yadav, Runjhun Talwar, Aditi Sharma, Nikki Gupta, Moni Srivastava and Deepika Chaudhary. The Olympiad was organised under the aegis of educational organisation upEducators, CMS Head of Communications Rishi Khanna said. More than 20,000 teachers from nearly 12,000 schools across 25 countries participated in the competition, Khanna said. He said the CMS teachers demonstrated their expertise in educating primary-level students and showcased innovative teaching methods and professional skills. “The achievement reflects their dedication, proficiency and expertise in education and also highlights the distinctive features of CMS’ Broader and Bolder educational approach,” Khanna said. CMS Founder-Director Bharti Gandhi congratulated the teachers on their achievement, according to the school. Khanna said CMS encourages students to excel in diverse fields according to their interests, adding that its students regularly participate in national and international competitions beyond academics. The school said the teachers’ performance had brought recognition to the institution at the international level.
