Lucknow, Oct 22 (INB) Artificial intelligence (AI)-based tools are helping students understand difficult subjects and solve academic problems in Sarvodaya schools run by the Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department, officials said on Thursday.
The use of AI is enabling students to understand complex questions, resolve subject-related queries and improve their grasp of concepts, according to information shared by the department.
The technology is also helping students understand mathematics problems step by step, learn difficult scientific concepts through examples and address language-related difficulties. Students can access practice material according to their individual needs, revise lessons, identify mistakes and improve their learning pace, the department said in a statement. The use of AI under teachers’ guidance is helping make the learning process more effective while promoting students’ digital literacy, logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities, it added.
Social Welfare Minister of State (Independent Charge) Asim Arun said, “the appropriate use of technology makes education simpler and more effective.” “AI is helping students learn new things, hone their abilities and prepare for the challenges of a changing world,” he said, stressing “the need to use the technology safely and responsibly.”
