NCERT launches online training series on ‘Reimagining Pedagogy in the Digital Age’ for teachers

New Delhi, June 26 (INB) NCERT arm The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET) has launched an online training series titled “Reimagining Pedagogy in the Digital Age” to strengthen the digital teaching competencies of teachers, teacher educators, school leaders and other education stakeholders.
The initiative is aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023, and the National Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage (NCF-FS) 2022, all of which emphasise technology-enabled, learner-centric and inclusive education.
The training programme aims to help educators effectively use digital technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), blended and hybrid learning models, and innovative teaching practices to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
All sessions will be broadcast daily from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm through NCERT Official YouTube Channel, PM eVidya DTH Channels (6–12), DD Free Dish, DISH TV Channels 2027–2033
JioTV mobile application, Recorded sessions will also be available through a dedicated YouTube playlist for learners who are unable to attend the live sessions.
Participants seeking a 50-hour Continuous Professional Development (CPD) certificate must enrol in the course on the DIKSHA portal after the course link is released on June 27, 2026.
To receive the digital certificate, participants must register on DIKSHA and link their Apaar ID and DigiLocker account. Thereafter, enrol in the online course, complete all digital learning resources and course activities.
It is required for candidates to achieve a score of at least 70 per cent in the final assessment within three attempts.
The digital certificate will be available on the learner’s DIKSHA profile and can also be downloaded or accessed through DigiLocker after all course requirements are successfully completed.
Participants who do not require certification may simply attend the live sessions or watch the recorded lectures through the official YouTube playlist.
