New Delhi Jul 7 (INB) The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on Tuesday released the merit list for admission to the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for the July 2026 session. The merit list covers admissions to the four-year B.A. B.Ed., B.Com. B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed. programmes and has been prepared on the basis of candidates’ performance in the entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), along with the programme preferences submitted through the prescribed Google Form. According to the university, candidates included in the merit list will receive their offer of admission through email. If seats remain vacant after the first round of admissions, candidates placed on the waiting list will be offered admission in subsequent rounds. Candidates receiving admission offers are required to complete the admission process by uploading the necessary documents and paying the prescribed fee within the deadline mentioned in the offer letter. The university said no request for extension of the admission deadline will be entertained under any circumstances. Admission will be confirmed only after verification of candidates’ eligibility and submitted documents. The merit lists for all three ITEP programmes have been made available on the university’s official website.
