New Delhi, Jul 8 (INB) The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Wednesday issued the advance exam city intimation slip for candidates appearing in the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 examination.
According to an official notice, the computer-based test (CBT) will be conducted on July 17 and 18 for determining eligibility for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor, admission to Ph.D., or both, in Indian universities and colleges.
The examination will cover Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, and Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences in multiple shifts over two days.
Candidates can download the advance city intimation slip from the official CSIR-NET website using their application number and password.
The agency clarified that the city intimation slip is not the admit card and has been issued only to inform candidates about the city where their examination centre will be located.
The admit card will be released separately.
Candidates facing difficulties in downloading the city intimation slip have been advised to contact the NTA helpdesk or send an email to the agency.
The NTA has also urged candidates to regularly visit its official websites for the latest updates.
