New Delhi, Jul 21 (INB) The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) has extended the last date for submission of applications for its Senior, Postdoctoral and Doctoral Fellowships to July 31, 2026, according to an official notification.
The council said the deadline has been extended after it observed that research scholars were facing difficulties in submitting their applications due to various reasons.
The extension is aimed at facilitating eligible applicants and providing them additional time to complete the application process for the fellowship programmes.
The revised deadline of July 31, 2026 will apply to applications for the ICSSR Senior Fellowship, Postdoctoral Fellowship and Doctoral Fellowship for the financial year 2026-27. ICSSR has advised eligible candidates to submit their applications before the extended deadline through the prescribed procedure.
