New Delhi, Jul 9 (INB) The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) published the sports calendar for academic session 2026-27 on Thursday.
CBSE Games will start as early as July 15th and will go on till September 6th depending on zone to zone, as per the calendar .
The center-run education board had announced activation of the sports portal for the CBSE Games 2026-27 on July 8. It has set a deadline of July 14 for schools to register for CBSE Games.
CBSE organizes sports events at Cluster/ Zonal and National levels for students of its affiliated schools every year in various age-groups for girls and boys separately. The Board invites proposals from its affiliated schools to organize CBSE Games, and also for ‘applying to participate’ in CBSE Games through an online portal.
In the circular issued on Wednesday, the board said schools affiliated with CBSE can register and apply to participate through the newly launched sports portal.
No late fee will be charged for registration or participation applications for the 2026-27 session.
The board said the competitions are scheduled to begin from July 15, while the revised competition schedule and updated CBSE Sports Calendar have been made available on the portal under the “Recent Announcements” section.
CBSE advised schools and participants to regularly check the Sports Portal for updates, as the calendar is subject to change.
Participants have also been asked to confirm schedules with the organising schools before making travel or other arrangements.
