The educational qualification required is a Ph.D. in any relevant discipline from a recognized university/institution. Academic experience required is 15 years as Assistant Professor, or 8 years of service in Level 13A (including as Associate Professor).
Administrative experience required includes 15 years of administrative experience, with a minimum of 8 years as Deputy Registrar or equivalent. Candidates should also have comparable experience in research establishments and/or institutions of higher education.
