Delhi University announces UG CSAS schedule for upgrade, mid-entry and third round

New Delhi, Jul 31 (INB) Delhi University has announced the schedule for undergraduate admissions under CSAS (UG) 2026-27, including the upgrade window, mid-entry and correction facility, and the third round of seat allocation, according to a public notice issued by the varsity’s Admission Branch. The notice, issued on Wednesday, said the upgraded seat allocations and the first round of Ward Quota allocations will be declared on August 1. Colleges will verify and approve applications between August 1 and August 3, while candidates must complete fee payment by August 4. The university said the mid-entry and correction window will remain open from August 3 to August 5. Candidates who did not apply during Common Seat Allocation System Under Graduate (CSAS UG) Phase-I can participate by paying a non-refundable additional fee of Rs 1,000, while eligible applicants can also edit programme and college preferences during the same period. However, the mid-entry facility will not be available for admissions under ECA, Sports, CW, Ward Supernumerary Quota and performance-based programmes, including Music, BFA and B.Sc. (PE, HE & S), the notice said. The first round of allocations for performance-based programmes will be announced on August 6, with candidates required to accept allotted seats by August 11. Fee payment for these admissions must be completed by August 13. The university further announced that the third round of CSAS allocations will be declared on August 8, followed by the first round of allocations under CW, ECA and Sports on August 9, and the second round of Ward Quota allocations on August 10. Candidates in all three categories must accept allotted seats by August 11, while colleges will verify applications by August 12. The last date for fee payment is August 13. Delhi University also advised candidates awaiting the results of the CBSE Class XII compartment examination to complete Phase-I registration through the mid-entry window so that they remain eligible to apply for Phase-II after declaration of their results. The university said the third-round allocations will be prepared using candidate data available as on August 5, adding that the minimum allocation scores and ranks in the third round will not be comparable with those of earlier rounds.
