New Delhi, Jul 8 (INB) The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the window for candidates to confirm, correct or update their bank account details for the refund of the NEET (UG) 2026 examination fee. In a public notice issued on Tuesday, the agency said the decision was taken after a large number of candidates failed to update or confirm their bank account information despite an earlier notification issued on June 30. According to the NTA, around 10,28,223 candidates have already updated and confirmed their bank account details, and the refund process has begun for these candidates. The agency said it remains committed to refunding the examination fee to all eligible candidates following the cancellation of the NEET (UG) 2026 examination held on May 3. Candidates who have not yet completed the process can log in to the NEET (UG) 2026 registration portal and update or confirm their bank account details after completing two-factor authentication. The NTA has advised candidates to complete the exercise by 11:50 pm on July 14, 2026, to facilitate timely processing of refunds. Candidates may also upload a cancelled cheque, if required, to ensure the accuracy of their bank account information.
