NTA invites applications for RIMC Entrance Examination 2026 exam on December 6

New Delhi, Sep 3 (INB) The National Testing Agency (NTA) invites online applications for the Rashtriya Indian Military College Entrance Examination (RIMCEE)-2026 for admission to Class VIII at RIMC, Dehradun, for the July 2027 academic term, according to an official statement. The RIMCEE-2026 will be conducted on December 6, 2026 (Sunday) through a pen-and-paper-based examination. The examination will comprise descriptive papers in Mathematics and English and multiple-choice questions in General Knowledge (GK). The test will be conducted across 39 cities in India. For admission to Class VIII for the July 2027 term, candidates should be at least 12 years and six months old and not more than 14 years old as on July 1, 2027. The online application process began on September 1 and will continue until September 30, 2026, up to 5 pm. The last date for successful payment of the examination fee is September 30 up to 11:50 pm. The examination fee is Rs 1,000 for General, Wards of Defence Personnel, ex-servicemen and OBC (NCL) candidates, while SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs 750. A late fee of Rs 500 will be applicable for applications submitted between October 1 and October 7. The NTA advised candidates to carefully read the detailed Information Bulletin and apply only through the official RIMCEE website exams.nta.nic.in/RIMCEE/. The agency has also asked applicants to regularly check its website for examination-related updates, it stated. The RIMC, an institution of national importance, has been providing education aimed at preparing young boys and girls for leadership roles in the armed forces since its establishment in 1922.
