Mahendergarh (Haryana), Sept 16 (INB) The Central University of Haryana has invited online applications for full-time PhD programmes for the 2026-27 academic session, with registration open from September 14 to October 3, the university said. Applications are being invited for PhD programmes across various departments, including sciences, engineering, humanities, social sciences, management, law, journalism and mass communication, the university said in a statement issued on September 14. The registration fee is ₹1,000 per programme for UR/OBC candidates and ₹500 for female and EWS candidates. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD and transgender categories are exempted from the fee. An entrance examination will be held on October 8 for PhD programmes in Hotel Management, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Printing and Packaging Technology, and Pharmaceutical Sciences. GATE/GPAT candidates are exempted from the entrance examination, it stated. The entrance exam result and interview shortlist will be announced on October 9, with departmental interviews scheduled from October 12 to 14, it added Document verification and fee payment will be held on October 15 and 16, while classes are scheduled to commence on October 26, the university said.
