New Delhi, Sept 8 (INB) The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced recruitment results for 22 cases finalised during July 2026, recommending candidates for posts across various Central government departments and ministries, it said.
The selections cover posts ranging from Deputy Controller of Explosives and Professor (Sugar Technology) to Assistant Legal Adviser, medical specialists, scientific officers, railway medical officers and senior administrative positions, commission said in a statement on Monday. Among the posts for which candidates were recommended are Deputy Controller of Explosives in the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation, Professor (Sugar Technology) at the National Sugar Institute, Assistant Director (Safety), Assistant Legal Adviser in the Directorate of Enforcement and Specialist Grade III posts in various medical disciplines. The results also include selections for posts such as Deputy Director of Mines Safety, Divisional Medical Officers in the Railways, Scientific Officer at the National Archives of India, Junior Scientific Officers in Chemistry and Physics, Deputy Legislative Counsel and Lecturer (Sociology) in Ladakh, it added. The commission said the recommended candidates have been informed individually by post. Applications of other candidates were also considered, but they could not be called for interviews or recommended for the respective posts, it stated. The detailed recruitment results, including the names and roll numbers of recommended candidates, have been made available by the UPSC.
